'Awesome; Fantastic; The best day of our holiday; Perfect hosts; Amazing bird displays'
All set in a delightful 15th century farmstead, with beautiful gardens, amazing traditional stone and thatched barns, and roomy stables.
Our owl garden is arguably one of the best collections of flown owls in the world, with some unusual species such as our Brown Wood Owl, Spectacled Owl, Great Grey Owl, Chaco Owl, Peruvian Striped Owl and Mottled Owl. (All species information on our Owl and Bird of Prey Pages)
Our daily display starts at 2pm when you can spend an Afternoon with Rod and our Birds, during which you may be able to handle or fly an owl, and enjoy a unique educational and interactive display of birds both outside in the field, or in our new indoor flying space - The Owl Barn. This is the oldest barn on the farm believed to have been the original kitchen to the old manor house - it still bears evidence of an ancient hearth and mullioned windows. Then finish with a delicious Cream Tea!
