Barefoot and bitless riding over Exmoor
AND Natural Horsemanship Activities
Excellent horses, amazing countryside and delightful trotting and cantering tracks. Our horses are well equipped for the terrain and for adult and teenage riders who are confident on their horses.
Short Ride: £40 per person (1.5hrs)
Long Ride: £55 for one. £100 for two (2.5hrs)
Full Day Ride: £80 each including picnic - Fridays only, competent riders only.
Discounts for regular riders - please discuss at time of booking.
Part Loans available for local riders - £70 per month
Winter rides - £40 per ride short or long.
Barefoot, bitless and some horses with treeless saddles - with soft mouths (no bits), soft saddles like a sofa and rock crunching hooves. We can guarantee a ride and a horse you will always remember. We have encouraged many riders back into horse keeping and riding after a long break with our steady and caring horses - we welcome riders who have not ridden for a while!
Led pony rides are available for young children on our Falabellas, and for older children on Rosie or Juta.
B&B for Horses available when you stay with us - bring your horse on holiday and we can provide an escort to help you explore miles and miles of Exmoor trails (supplement POA)

Novice/Beginner - Never been on a horse before, or has ridden several times, but not able to do rising trot or canter
Intermediate - Has had several lessons, able to control a horse at walk trot and canter in a school.
Intermediate plus - Ridden for several years, competent riding at all paces, enjoys controlled and fast canters, able to control a horse at all paces with independent seat and able to cope with steep hills
Experienced - Ridden for many years, has owned horses, and comfortable on any horse. Riding lessons and trail riding/hacking out, competition/eventing.
Please note: We are unable to take out more than one novice rider at a time. When we do accept novice riders the ride will be at walk only - the ride is always taken at the pace of the weakest rider.
